If you are planning to visit Chicago and will be staying in or near the Humboldt Park area, Cermak Produce #4 in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood is the place to shop! The store is always neat and clean, and there’s a HUGE selection of goods that’s guaranteed to satisfy any pallet or diet.
They have a wide variety of ethnic, vegan, gourmet, organic, and healthy foods. Whether you’re a meat eater, vegan, vegetarian, are lactose intolerant, or have food restrictions (such as gluten, sodium, or sugar) Cermak Produce can serve you. If you don’t see a specific item you regularly buy at another store, the store managers may even add it to their next order.
They also have a large variety of fresh meats, fruit and veggies, nuts, grains, and so much more! Hey… if you don’t feel up to cooking, check out their hot ready to go meals, fresh salads, and sandwiches that are made fresh daily. It’s hard to believe that they could pack so much goodness and variety in a store about half the size of a major grocery store.
