Greater Grand Crossing is a community that is predominantly African American, with a small number of Caucasians and Hispanics. It’s boundaries are 63rd Street (N), 79th Street (S), the Illinois Central, Lake Shore, and Michigan Southern railroad tracks and Cottage Grove Avenue (E), and Wallace Street/Dan Ryan Corridor (W).
