Prairie Shores is a middle class neighborhood in the Douglas community. Home of the Illinois Institute of Technology. Its boundaries are the Stevenson (I-55) Expressway (N), 31st Street (S), the Metra Electric Railroad Tracks (E), and South Martin Luther King Drive (W).
