Prairie Avenue Historic District is a neighborhood in the Near South community. A historic district that became the city’s most fashionable residential district after The Great Chicago Fire. Its boundaries are 16th Street (N), Cullerton Street (S), McCormick Place Busway & Prairie Avenue (E), and Wabash Avenue (W).
